Alleged Sexual Assault
Content Warning: This Timely Warning includes descriptions of sexual assault, including rape.
Yesterday, April 20th, 2025, at 2:30 P.M., the University of Kansas Police Department received a report of an alleged rape that occurred approximately 3:00 A.M. on Friday, April 18th, 2025, in the 1700 block of Engel Road.
The reporting party alleges that four suspects were involved. One of the alleged suspects is known, while the other three are unknown. The reporting party was at a bar near campus and became intoxicated; the alleged incident took place at the reporting party's place of residence. University police are investigating. Anyone having any additional information regarding this incident, please call the University of Kansas Police Department at 911 or 785-864-5900.
