Impact & Belonging
What is Impact & Belonging?
Within the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX, the Impact & Belonging Team develops and implements support efforts to foster a respectful, connected, and engaged community across the University of Kansas's campuses and instructional sites. It provides educational programming, collaboration opportunities, and community-building events rooted in belonging and discovery, with the goal of creating and maintaining working and learning spaces where each Jayhawk can thrive. The Impact & Belonging Team offers proactive education, as well as tailored reactive training in response to reports of discrimination, harassment, and related retaliation. This team also supports units in conducting climate surveys to assess program initiatives, identify discrimination and harassment concerns, and evaluate overall unit climate.
