Outreach - Tabling, Materials and More

Tailored education to meet your needs

OCRTIX is proud to provide educational materials to meet the specific and dynamic needs of the campus community.

The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX offers annual, just-in-time, proactive, and reactive educational trainings.

You might know us best from our annual training launched through the HR platform Mytalent. This federally required annual training is a foundational element to ensuring all employees are trained and knowledgeable about reporting obligations according to Title IX.

In addition to implementing this training, we offer various educational trainings, all created to meet the unique needs of the requesting unit.

Invite us to table at your event

We take requests for, and create materials to meet your audience's unique needs!

Are you hosting an event that centers one of KU's 16 protected classes (race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, ancestry, disability, status as a veteran, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, gender identity, gender expression and genetic information)? We'd love to be a part of your event through tabling!

When tabling, we bring materials relevant to the topic/community being centered, as well as our general information that is helpful to everyone. We'd love to be a part of any staff, faculty, or student event and welcome the partnership!

We'll even bring some swag for your group, and maybe some candy.

Our collection of materials

We continue to grow our collection of educational materials. Anyone is welcome to use any handout materials. We post presentations to provide increased transparency, but please invite us to facilitate the content to your unit!

Do you have an idea for a new resource you'd like us to being to your event? Just let us know! We are constantly developing new materials and want campus input on what is most necessary and relevant.
