Soundbath with Susan Harp

Location: Spencer Center, Large Gathering Space, Orr Major B022A

Time: 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Dates:

  • October 28th, 2026
  • February 24th, 2027
  • April 28th, 2027

Session leader, Susan Harp, will envelop participants with warm, healing sounds from her instruments and voice, creating an ambient environment for each recipient.

A soundbath is a meditative experience where participants are “submerged” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as singing bowls, percussion, chimes, harmonium, handpan, and even human voice.

Susan Harp brings over 35 years of musical offerings as a vocalist, kirtan artist, pianist, and harmonium player. Classically trained in voice and piano, Susan enjoys sharing all genres of music and sound with her audiences and has been exploring the healing properties of sound for the last several years.

What to bring: Blankets, pillows, yoga mat or anything you need to stay warm and comfortable on the floor or in your chair.  A few blankets/mats will be available to borrow, but they are on a first-come, first-served basis.
