Belonging @ KU Series
The Belonging @ KU series showcases the innovation and excellence of University of Kansas scholars and practitioners, emphasizing KU’s commitment to fostering a dynamic community where each Jayhawk can thrive.
The “Belonging @ KU: First-Generation Perspectives in Higher Education” event will feature valued members of the KU community, including Angela Hendershot, Professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications; Alejandra Hernandez-Castro, Associate Director for TRIO Student Support Services; and Jorge Aragon, a KU pre-medical student and President of FIRST (Fearless Individuals Reaching Success Together), who plans to pursue medical school at University of Kansas Medical Center.
This event is free and open to all KU and KU Medical Center students, staff, faculty, and affiliates. Registration is required. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all KU-sponsored events.
