Federal and state guidance on discrimination has changed significantly over the past few years, and especially since January 2025. The Office of Civil Rights & Title IX will provide an overview of various Executive Orders (EOs), Dear Colleague Letters (DCLs), and Resolution Agreements (RAs) that are currently reshaping civil rights in higher education. From Harvard and Columbia to KU and beyond, we’ve seen and experienced great change and uncertainty over the past year. From attending, colleagues will gain a clearer understanding of some of the changes impacting KU from federal and state levels. These presentations are open to KU and KU Medical Center staff, faculty, and affiliates.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend University of Kansas sponsored events. If you require a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in these events, please contact the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX at least one week prior to each event at civilrights@ku.edu
