Healing in Practice: Integrative Approaches to Health and Well-Being

Date: Thursday, May 7th, 2026

Location: Health Education Building (HEB) G205 and Zoom

In observance of Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month, the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX is hosting an interactive program that brings together clinical experts, researchers, and community practitioners to explore the health benefits of integrative healing approaches. The program will begin with a moderated conversation focused on research, clinical insights, and practical applications, followed by brief in-person demonstrations of qigong, chair yoga, and sound bath. Join us for an engaging learning experience that examines evidence-based approaches to healing while highlighting ways restorative practices can support individual well-being and healthier communities.

Location: School of Nursing 1st Floor Walkway

Stop by for coffee or tea and hear more from members of the APIA committee about healing practices and integrative approaches to health and well-being. No registration is required.
