Rapport Program
Rapport is a networking and support program that provides opportunities for professional social and professional connection in an effort to build campus community engagement. Events are open to all KU graduate students, staff, post docs, and faculty.
Staff & Faculty Rapport Program
Many staff and faculty who attend Rapport events say that they leave feeling re-energized and more connected to the community. We invite all KU staff and faculty to attend and cultivate more holistic support, networking, and community building.
The dates for the 2024-2025 Staff & Faculty Rapport program are set. Please RSVP for all of the events you plan to attend. Food and refreshments are provided.
Location: The Pub @ the Jayhawk Welcome Center
Time: 3:30-5:30 pm for each date

Post Doctoral Rapport Program
Rapport focuses on building intentional networks of care and belonging for members of the KU community.
This academic year we are expanding this series to include events that are welcoming for post-docs at KU! These events are currently being hosted at the Bird Dog Bar at the Oread Hotel by Hilton, OCRTIX sponsor appetizers and soft drinks for all attendees. This environment allows participants to connect with one another and meet other post-docs on campus that they may have not had a chance to connect with otherwise. The event helps build healthy and vibrant communities on campus where participants get to take a break from their busy schedules and develop networks of support.

Graduate Student Rapport Program
Hosted from Spring 2023-Spring 2024, Rapport for Graduate Students focused on building intentional networks of care and belonging for KU graduate students.
These events were hosted at the Bird Dog Bar at the Oread Hotel by Hilton, with appetizers and soft drinks provided for all attendees. This environment allowed participants to connect with one another and meet other graduate students that they may have not had a chance to connect with otherwise. The program was sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (now the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX), Center for Sexuality & Gender Diversity, Graduate Studies, International Support Services, and Office of Multicultural Affairs.
