Rapport Program
The Rapport series, hosted by the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX, aims to foster community at the University of Kansas by providing opportunities to build connections and support systems, intentional space to network, and an environment of belonging. Rapport events are open to all staff, faculty, postdocs, and affiliates from all KU campuses and instructional sites.
Staff & Faculty Rapport Program
Many staff and faculty who attend Rapport events say that they leave feeling re-energized and more connected to the community. We invite all KU staff and faculty to attend and cultivate more holistic support, networking, and community building.
The dates for the 2025-2026 Staff & Faculty Rapport program are set. Please RSVP for all of the events you plan to attend. Food and refreshments are provided.
Location: KU Memorial Union, Hawks Nest & Baumgartner Terrace
Time: 3:30-5:30 pm for each date
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend University of Kansas sponsored events. If you require a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this event, please email belonging@ku.edu at least one week prior to the event.
Post Doctoral Rapport Program
Rapport focuses on building intentional networks of care and belonging for members of the KU community.
This academic year we are expanding this series to include events that are welcoming for post-docs at KU! We provide appetizers and drinks for all attendees. This environment allows participants to connect with one another and meet other post-docs on campus that they may have not had a chance to connect with otherwise. The event helps build healthy and vibrant communities on campus where participants get to take a break from their busy schedules and develop networks of support.
