Time: 4:00-6:00 P.M.
Location: Health Education Building (HEB) 2112
Join us for a storytelling event, “Belonging Together: Stories of Healing, Heritage, and Humanity,” in observance of Arab American Heritage Month. This event celebrates some of the rich tapestry of experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds that strengthen our exceptional learning community. Several members of the KU Medical Center community will share short reflections on how heritage, culture, and family traditions have influenced their journeys into healthcare, research, and service. Following the storytelling portion of the program, attendees will engage in small-group conversations designed to spark reflection and foster a sense of belonging across our community. Light refreshments will be served. Open to all KU and KU Medical Center students, learners, staff, faculty, and affiliates.
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all KU Medical Center sponsored events. If you require reasonable accommodations in order to participate, please contact the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX at belonging-kumc@kumc.edu.
