   Welcome, Donisha Hoffine, to the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX

The Office of Civil Rights & Title IX (OCRTIX) at the University of Kansas is pleased to welcome Donisha Hoffine to the team as the Wichita Program Manager. Donisha joins as a One KU employee, based primarily at the KU Medical Center in Wichita. 

In her role, Donisha will serve as the key OCRTIX representative in Wichita, supporting Clery Act and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act compliance efforts, conducting intake meetings, providing supportive resources to community members, and assisting with education, outreach, and training initiatives. She will also help strengthen partnerships across campuses while advancing OCRTIX’s commitment to civil rights compliance, safety, and community engagement. 

Donisha brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education, public health, community outreach, program management, and student support. Throughout her career, she has advised students, developed and facilitated educational and workforce readiness programs, managed complex initiatives, and utilized data-driven assessment to evaluate program effectiveness and improve outcomes. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice from KU and is excited to return to serve the Jayhawk community. Donisha also holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice. 

Throughout her career, Donisha has demonstrated a strong ability to build relationships, manage complex programs, facilitate trainings and presentations, and work with sensitive information. Her experience in case management, outreach, data analysis, compliance-related reporting, and community education will be invaluable as OCRTIX expands its presence and impact in Wichita and across all KU campuses and instructional sites.
